NSB has always celebrated students' hard work, commitment, and contributions. NSB Bangalore, today, celebrated the success of first semester / 1st & 2nd Trimesters by Awarding the Academic Champions and various event coordinators. The points for Academic championship was based on Team presentations, Internal exam scores, Attendance, BNA, participation in Club activity, representing NSB outside the college, discipline etc. The cohort consisted a total of 35 teams from both PGDM and MBA. Out of which 2 teams (MBA and PGDM) were announced as champions. Hearty thanks to the faculty's hard work and direction that the students were able to achieve the awards and certificate. NSB Bangalore extends its heartfelt congratulations to the winners of the academic championship trophy, and club and event coordinators. As it is a rolling trophy, we invite other teams to compete with the winners.

Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships.” – Michael Jordan Yet another mega event of Annual Sports Day took place at NSB Bangalore campus with great zeal, excitement, buoyant & high-spirited atmosphere where students participated in various games like Badminton, Carrom, Chess, Cricket, Football, Kabbadi, Shot-Put, Table Tennis, Tug of War and Volley Ball. It highlighted the importance of sports for physical fitness, leadership, teamwork and the cultivation of the sporting spirit that is useful in all of life’s experiences.

Successful completion of NSB Alumni Meet 2019 was another memorable event that took place this year. Nostalgia filled the atmosphere, as the revered Alumni entered their Alma Mater brimming with feelings of joy and ecstasy. Beautifully decorated NSB’s new campus welcomed its Alumnus. The event commenced by invoking the blessings of almighty through a divine rendition of the Ganesh Vandana. The aura of optimism and enlightenment in place, the students were pumped to put up a great show for their beloved seniors. Gracing the occasion with their presence Dr. Sridhara Murthy President and The Director of NSB Bangalore, Along with Governing Council Members, Faculty and staff. Throughout the day programs like faculty facilitation, Alumni presentations, formation for alumni association, talent show by alumni, Drama by SPIC MACAY and enthralling cultural performance by young NSBians followed by a delicious moonlight dinner kept our Alumnus cherishing their memories about NSB. The day marked the new beginning of the NSB Alumni Association adding another colorful feather to NSB Bangalore.

NSB Convocation – 2017-19 Batch

The 10th Annual Convocation Ceremony of National School of Business for the Cohort 2017-19 was held on 28th Sep 2019. Graduating students across the country had come to receive their Convocation. This formal ceremony was presided by Prof. D.R Nagaraj, Member of Governing Council, NSB. Students received their Convocation from the Chief Guest – Hon’ble Justice Shri. N Santosh Hegde, former judge of the Supreme Court of India, former Solicitor General of India and former Lokayukta (ombudsman) for Karnataka State of India from 2006-2011. President of NSB- Dr.S.R. Sridharamurthy awarded medals to meritorious students. Members of Governing Council, Faculty, Staff Members, Students and their parents, over six hundred people had witnessed Students Graduating with Flying Colors.

Independence Day Celebrations

On this August 15th 2019, NSB Bangalore celebrated 73rd Independence day of India with a great enthusiasm and a patriotic fervour. The President and the Director of NSB Bangalore Dr.Sridhara Murthy unfurled the ‘Tiranga’ and all in unison sang the National Anthem. The programme commenced with patriotic songs expressing the joy of freedom and awakening everyone’s patriotism towards the motherland. Inspiring words by the President where he focussed on the role of youth today for bringing a change in the society. He emphasized on the significance of inculcating human values and discipline in the students and about imbibing the qualities of leadership. Programme ended with the performances by students showcasing the rich cultural heritage of our country followed by the sweet distribution. All the faculty and Staff were present during the celebration.
