Prof. David KK (Kyung Ki), Eun
David KK (Kyung Ki), Eun is an Adjunct Professor at Tongmyong University, Busan, Korea and currently serves as the Vice President of the Overseas Business Unit at DMIC Co., Ltd. with over 37 years of experience in manufacturing, quality control and supply chain management, he has played key roles in leading global industrial projects.
He has an extensive professional background, having spent 17 years at Wärtsilä as a Senior Supplier Development Engineer and Senior Manufacturing Expert, 7 years at Van Der Graaf in Toronto, Canada, as a QC Engineer and CNC Machinist and 11 years at LG Metals Corp. (LS Nikko), where he was part of the New Business Development Team and the Onsan Plant Expansion Team. Since April 2023, he has been leading strategic initiatives at DMIC Co., Ltd.
Dr. Eun holds two Ph.D. degrees—one in Mechanical Engineering (Pukyong National University, 2010) and another in Business Administration (Pukyong National University, 2023). His academic journey also includes a Master’s in Education, a Master’s in International Studies, an MBA and a Master’s in Industrial Engineering, highlighting his diverse expertise. Additionally, he has received specialized training in CNC Programming and Operation from Northtown Technical, Toronto.
As a certified PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner and Six Sigma Black Belt, he possesses deep expertise in project management and operational excellence. His credentials also include ISO Lead Auditor certifications (9001, 14001, 45001), Root Cause Analysis certification and recognition as a Certified Korean Language Teacher by the National Institute of Korean Language.
Through his extensive corporate and academic career, Dr. Eun continues to contribute to the fields of industrial management, manufacturing excellence and business strategy.
