From Jammu & Kashmir to Kanyakumari — a new pan-India cohort begins its two-year journey at NSB Bangalore.
A new academic journey began at NSB Bangalore on 17 August 2026, as the institution formally welcomed its MBA & PGDM 2026–2028 cohort during the Academic Inauguration Ceremony.
The new batch began reporting to campus on 14 and 15 August, bringing together students from across India — from Jammu & Kashmir to Kanyakumari. With diverse academic backgrounds, experiences and aspirations, the cohort represents the growing pan-India character of the NSB student community.
India Comes Together at NSB Bangalore
One of the defining features of the 2026 batch is its geographic diversity. Students have joined NSB Bangalore from different regions of the country, bringing with them different cultures, perspectives and stories.
Alongside this diversity is a strong academic profile, with the incoming cohort including students who have performed well in leading management entrance examinations and are now beginning their postgraduate management journey at NSB.
A New Chapter Begins
Held at the NSB Campus, the inauguration ceremony formally marked the beginning of the two-year MBA and PGDM journey for the 2026–2028 cohort.
The programme opened with the college anthem and ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a welcome address. The Founder-President of NSB Bangalore, Dr. S. R. Sridhara Murthy, delivered the keynote address and shared his perspective with the incoming students as they begin their journey at NSB.
The Director of NSB, Dr. Srinidhi K. Parthasarathi, followed with a message outlining the academic journey ahead and the opportunities available to students during their time at the institution.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks and the National Anthem.

For the new MBA and PGDM students, the inauguration marks more than the start of an academic calendar. It is the beginning of an experience built around management education, industry exposure, peer learning and opportunities to apply classroom concepts in real-world settings.
Over the next two years, students will learn alongside peers from across the country, participate in academic and student-led activities, engage with industry perspectives, global immersion programs and build the skills required to navigate a rapidly changing business environment.
