Four days of athletics, team sport and campus-wide spirit — Kridothsav 2026 brought NSB Bangalore together on the field and the court.
From competitive fixtures to a spirited athletic meet, Kridothsav Annual Sports Day 2026 at NSB Bangalore brought the campus together through four days of sporting action, teamwork and healthy competition.
The annual sports celebration featured Basketball, Badminton, Kabaddi, Cricket, Athletics, Throwball, Football, Volleyball, Tug of War and Dodgeball, giving students multiple opportunities to compete, collaborate and represent their teams.
Two Days of Celebrating Sporting Spirit
The main Kridothsav celebrations took place on 16 and 17 July 2026, beginning with the Athletic Meet at Sports Ville.
The inaugural ceremony opened with the hoisting of the flag, the NSB Anthem, a March Past and the ceremonial lighting of the flame. The President of NSB Bangalore, Dr. S.R. Sridhara Murthy, officially declared the Kridothsav 2026 Athletic Meet open, followed by a Presidential Address and the athletes' oath.
The athletic events then got underway, with students competing across track and field disciplines while their teammates and peers cheered them on.
Competition Beyond the Classroom
Kridothsav extended beyond athletics, with students taking part in a diverse range of team and individual sports across the campus. Events such as cricket, football, volleyball, kabaddi and tug of war tested coordination and team strategy, while badminton and athletics brought individual skill, discipline and endurance to the forefront.
The sporting calendar created opportunities for students from different programmes and backgrounds to compete together, strengthening the sense of community that defines campus life at NSB Bangalore.
Recognising Performance and Teamwork
The celebrations concluded on 17 July 2026 at the NSB Convention Centre with the Valedictory and Prize Distribution Ceremony.
The Chief Guest addressed the students before the winners and outstanding performers were recognised for their achievements. The ceremony brought the sporting journey to a close while celebrating the effort, discipline and teamwork displayed throughout Kridothsav.

As the final celebrations concluded, Kridothsav 2026 left behind more than winners and trophies — it created another shared chapter in the NSB campus experience.
