Dr. D. Maria Nirmal Preethi is an academician and researcher with 8 years of experience in teaching, research and academic administration. She holds a Ph.D. in Management from Presidency University, Bengaluru, with research focusing on impulsive buying behaviour and consumer decision-making in the apparel industry. Her academic qualifications include a Master of International Business (MIB) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology (PGDCP).

She has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Marketing Management, Consumer Behaviour, Retailing Management, Services Marketing, Research Methodology, Human Resource Management and Business Ethics and has served as the Head of the Department of Management at Don Bosco College, Bengaluru. Dr. Maria has published research in Scopus-indexed and peer-reviewed journals, presented papers at national and international conferences and authored the book Deciphering Consumer Minds: Insights from Neuromarketing.

She is a reviewer for reputed journals, including Journal of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (Springer) and Current Psychology (Scopus) and has actively contributed to academic leadership through Boards of Studies, conferences, faculty development programs and research initiatives.
