Dr. Mrinmoy Roy is working at NSB Academy as Associate Professor (Business Analytics & AI) with over 17 years of distinguished academic and industry experience across analytics, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and management education. He holds a Ph.D. in Management (Operations & AI in Healthcare) with Distinction and is a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Applied Business Research from Texas State University, USA. His academic credentials also include an M.Sc. in Computer Science, MBA in International Business, and advanced professional certifications such as Executive Certification in Management Consulting (IMCI–ICMCI Global) and Generative AI in Business along with specialized FDPs at IIM Bangalore. He has previously served at PES University & IIHMR Bangalore as full time faculty and has been associated with SRM Online, Jain Group of Institutions, NMIMS Mumbai and Ramaiah Institute of Management as visiting faculty. His core expertise spans Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Business Analytics, Operations Research, Applied Statistics, Predictive Modelling, Optimization, and Healthcare & Digital Health Analytics.

Dr. Roy is the author of the book “A Manager's Handbook on Medical Coding Standards from Health Information Technology Perspectives” (LAP, London; ISBN-13: 978-6205513071), which has been translated into six international languages across continents. He has authored more than 40 research papers, Book Chapters and case studies indexed in Scopus, ABDC, UGC-CARE List of Journals, and Consultants’ Forum (IMCI & CMC Global) and many more are follows. His publications appear in reputed international journals including those published by Emerald Publishing and Taylor & Francis Group. He also serves as a reviewer for prestigious Scopus and ABDC indexed journals such as the International Journal of Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Marketing (IJPHM – Emerald) and Frontiers Media (Frontiers of Digital Health). His research primarily focuses on AI adoption in healthcare systems, technology-driven diagnostic frameworks, and data-driven decision-making models.

Prior to his full-time academic career, Dr. Roy held strategic and managerial roles in leading pharmaceutical organizations including AstraZeneca Pharma India Ltd., Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Lupin Ltd., and Cipla Ltd., bringing strong industry insights into analytics-driven strategy and healthcare management.
